  Disorganized, do not take the time to explain the procedure. Main purpose is money and not to take care of patients' health. And Dr. Brown barely knows what's going on around him.

  I called the 800 number to inquire about the possibility about having my mother see Dr. Brown for her allergy problem. I asked, what I think is customary when considering a doctor for my mother. Did they take her insurance? She said yes. I asked for their La Quinta office address and she didn't want to give it to me. She said when I made the appointment I would get that information. My mother is elderly and had previously had a very bad experience with a gastroenterologist who was very rude and was "annoyed" by her asking questions about a procedure she was having. I asked the girl on the phone how was Dr. Brown's personality and I explained to her why I was asking, I told her I just wanted to know if he was easy going or very serious? I just wanted my mom to feel comfortable with her appointment. That girl was so unfriendly and had no clue what telephone customer service skills are. She cut me short every question with a very short and dry answer, almost like I was being a pain in her behind. I have never met Dr. Brown and I never will because his office manager obviously does't realize that first impressions count big. The first impression I got from the first member of their staff made me feel like they don't need or want my business. There are curteous and diplomatic ways to answer a question yes or no, but their service is not about courtesy or respect toward the patient. My mother is seeing another doctor whose staff is more professional and curteous. Dr. Brown's staff obviously doesn't realize that without the patients, there is no need for their position.

  What a great experience. Had very bad allergies because of all the rain here in the desert. Really listened to my issues and came up with a great plan to tackle them. I can now sleep at night and function during the day. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR> BROWN. I also have to say what a great group of people at this office. They really work to accommodate me. Thank you!
