Customer Reviews about Institute For Clinical Ortho: Stabile Louis MD

  • Dr. Joel Matta is considered to be the best hip & pelvis surgeon in the world. Dr. Matta trained Dr Louis Stabile. I have known Dr. Matta for 30 years. I asked Joel who he would use if HE needed hip surgery. He said, " Dr. Louis Stabile." I have referred many people in the desert to Dr Stabile & they all had fantadtic results! The anterior approach is the way to go. There is a huge difference in results.

  • I only give Dr. Stabile and his staff 5 stars because there are not more stars I can give. I'd like to give 10 stars. I met Dr. Stabile after seeing a billboard advertising a free lecture he was giving at Mizell. I was looking for "minimally invasive procedure", which was advertised, and it didn't take me long to realize that brash, cocky, Dr. Stabile was the guy for me. He has been doing this procedure for ten years and has done thousands of them. This is the guy I was looking for. I have been to a few doctors, and my experience is mostly semi-conscious office staff and long waits, but Dr. Stabile's staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Stabile may always seem like he's in a little bit of a hurry, but's that's just because he's busy and knows what he's doing. He doesn't need a lot of time to see what's wrong and what needs to be done. Everyone I spoke with, including his staff and other patients in the waiting room seemed to have the upmost respect for him, and he came very highly recommended, from what I heard. When I went to get my pre-op blood work, Dr. Stabile sent me to the hospital wing where the surgery and post-op section is, and I met and spoke with the people working there. Everyone there referred to Dr. Stabile with almost reverence. They couldn't praise him, his skill, and his professionalism enough. The same was true the day of my surgery, and during my recovery on the orthopedic floor. All of the nurses and physical therapists were telling me, "he's the best surgeon. If I ever needed anything, he's who I would go to". The day of the surgery, Dr. Stabile came to see me in pre-op. He told me, not to worry, I'll enjoy it. And you know what? He was right. Everyone was so professional at Desert Regional Hospital, where Dr. Stabile's office is and where he operates. I was so relaxed and trustful; and they were so sweet and competent, smart and caring. I can't thank them all enough. Now, two weeks after my surgery, I'm practically back to normal. I was walking around the hospital floor the day after surgery, and went home the day after that. (The hospital staff is amazing. To be honest, I didn't want to leave). Dr. Stabile put a bandage on that remained until our next visit a couple of weeks after surgery. He pulled it off, and there was practically nothing there. He uses glue or something... no stitches to be removed. Also, minimally invasive procedure doesn't cut muscles or tendons; faster recovery time. For me, there was literally no pain throughout the entire process, and I woke up in the hospital with less pain than I've had in years. So for anyone out there who is hesitating about getting a hip replacement and has pain, I'd say, definitely call Dr. Stabile. I have IEHP, and he accepts that. I'll be going back to Dr. Stabile for my next hip replacement in about 5 weeks. I can't wait to do the other, and begin walking normally again for the first time in years!
