  My experience at the El Mirador Surgical Center was fantastic. I was afraid when coming in. Was informed by all three Rns. Michelle, Rebecca, Arlene on what would be happing. After that I felt more comfortable. When entering the surgery area I was empress by everyone and Dr. Congress. Keep up the good work and your smile's. Thank you to all Dolores Cassadas 2-17- 2017

  Organized and very well run facility. The staff and my orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Bell are fantastic! The nurses were happy! These nurses were not harried or stressed out but very friendly with their patients and their colleagues. I almost forgot I was in a hospital type environment! :-) It was a relaxing experience (and I had not had taken any meds to relax me.) They allowed me to sit in a nice chair in a small 'lounge type' room with my husband before surgery. Dr. Bell came in to visit with us before the procedure. I wasn't in too much pain, so I was able to walk with the nurse to the surgery room which I found amazing in itself! Rather than being knocked out and rolled in, I was able to walk in and see everything! The nurses took the time to answer my questions about all the equipment, etc. Another plus was they took the IV out before I woke up so I didn't even have to go through the burning sensation of IV removal. Post Op recovery was a very nice quiet experience as well. The nurses were still happy and showed no signs of stress, which always makes it easier on the patient.
